About
Van Holten Tailored Interiors
Sewing beautiful things has always been our passion at Van Holten Tailored Interiors, from clothing to lampshades and bespoke soft furnishings. The craftsmanship, knowledge, traditional sewing skills and love for working with fabrics have been passed down several generations, and this is easily noticeable in the work we deliver.
Van Holten Tailored Interiors was set up in 2009 in our spare bedroom, and since then, we have built a new workshop near Tain in the Scottish Highlands.
Sabine, the owner of Van Holten Tailored Interiors, takes a personal interest in each project which comes through the door; no matter what it is, each item receives dedicated care and craftsmanship from start to finish, packaged up ready to be delivered. Her daughter Yvonne works alongside Sabine, and her husband Stephen is an installer and fitter for all tracks; in all a great working team!
When not sewing and creating soft furnishings, she can be found either on her motorcycle touring the Scottish Highlands or further afield with her husband; her other hobbies are cooking, gardening and walking her dogs.
Apart from making curtains, blinds and other soft furnishings, we also make headboards, re-cover motorcycle seats and provide a bespoke CNC embroidery service. Please use the contact us form or simply give us a call during working hours.
Thank you to Olive & Daisy, Willis Bloom, Barnaby Gates, Hunter Hyland, Cameron Fuller and Silent Gliss, who have all provided some of the images used.
